Remodeling and Addition Process – Getting It Right
Defining Your Goals
When you decide to remodel, we invite you to come to us with your concerns and your goals. Perhaps you’d like your kitchen to be more conducive to entertaining, you feel your bedrooms are too drafty, or you just need more space for your growing family. Your project manager will listen carefully and ask questions to define the scope of your project. Then they’ll tour the existing home with you and help you refine your ideas to best accomplish your goals within the scope of your budget.
Design and Budget
If you like, we’ll introduce you to several architects with whom we partner in remodel projects. You can choose the one that you feel suits you best, or we can work with an architect of your choice. Either way, we’ll be there to ensure your objectives and your budget are well cared for, including allowance for those unknown conditions that are so often not considered when planning for a remodel.
Construction
The construction phase of a remodel ... Your construction team will be constantly mindful that you are living in the construction zone. They will also be on the alert for unexpected conditions that will require adjustments to the planned construction. You will be updated with regular progress reports, pictures and on-site meetings, and will be consulted on any changes needed as a result of previously unknown conditions.
Your remodel or addition will be built to our standards of high-performance building, while being seamlessly integrated with your existing home. Our high level of craftsmanship will bring to your home a beauty to reflect its quality construction.
