When you call or come in to Northway Construction to ask about damage restoration, you may be pretty sure you have a problem, you may have a neighbor with damage and want to be sure your own property is intact or you may just realize that your home is old enough that damage is occurring without being apparent. Whatever your reason, we’ll listen to your concerns and determine your needs for an initial inspection.
Diagnosing the Problem
Armed with appropriate diagnostic equipment and our knowledge of building science, our professionals will inspect your site for damage. We’ll start with any areas of your specific concern and proceed to locations of likely problems throughout the structure. Depending on our initial findings, we’ll conduct more extensive evaluations until the damage is fully documented and the source or sources of the problem pinpointed.
Planning for Remediation
From the results of our diagnostic work, we’ll develop a plan for remediation of the damage found and for preventing future damage. If necessary, we’ll make suggestions for outside resources such as architectural/engineering, construction trades or building science consultants. We’ll work with you to incorporate these steps into your budget.
Damage Removal and Reconstruction
According to the remediation plan developed with you, our crews will quickly and efficiently remove whatever damage is discovered and make repairs adhering to our high-performance building standards. We will correct the problems that led to the original damage to ensure you have a comfortable, durable, healthy space to last a lifetime.
